Push the 14" dowel into a potted spruce or a jar of cut greenery and you have a Christmas centerpiece in about 4 seconds. This MERRY felt pennant has layered felt letters in green, red, blue, and pink on a cream background, with a red scalloped band at the pole end. 2 grosgrain ribbons and a string of gold stars hang off the side, which gives it the old stadium pennant look that fits a preppy Christmas setup. At 7" x 14.5", it's sized for a tabletop, a bookshelf, or the top of a kids' room or dorm door. Slide the dowel out after the holidays and the felt lies flat in a drawer until next year.
